ViniYoga Practice
 
Hatha yoga prepares us for meditation and promotes structural stability, emotional health and mental well-being. It helps us restore and maintain balance as we move through life by bringing increased calmness, clarity and vitality. This class will emphasize the function of yoga postures in relation to each individual’s unique condition using ancient principles of movement. Through conscious movement we learn how to use our bodies more efficiently, increase our sense of well-being and deepen our self-awareness.  

Things you will learn:

- yoga postures for flexibility, strength and stability
-how to coordinate your movement with your breath
-how to adapt poses to suit your needs
-how to move from a relaxed and centered state of being
-relaxation techniques

Duration and Time:

Six Week Program: Mon-Wed-Friday —5:30-6:30 pm

Sonia is a certified Aston-Patterner®, and a Viniyoga instructor with 10 years of experience. She has practiced Kundalini MahaYoga Meditation for 15 years and has lived with Swami Khecaranatha since 1991.
